Abstract. Putra FP, Kusmiyati F, Anwar S, Widaryati, Sas MGA. 2022. Variation in leaf characters and agronomical traits of Yard-long bean genotypes between Dimocarpus longan Psidium guajava stand. Biodiversitas 23: 5752-5758. (Vigna unguiculata subs. sesquipedalis) is one the most familiar horticulture crops. Leaf characteristics such as trichomes, stomata, chlorophyll content correlated to other that influenced tolerance under sub-optimum conditions component production traits. This study aimed evaluate variations genotypes. The was conducted by Split-plot design, with primary factor were shading Lour. sub-plot seven beans. Analyses performed multiple components, including density trichome, chlorophylls, carotenoids, nitrate reductase activity, flowering times, harvesting components D. P. stands. total chlorophyll, carotenoid, Nitrate activity showed variability responses for each genotype different conditions. One early shaded than guajava. Two have potential adapt shade longan. morpho-agronomic been characterized may be used donors future hybridization programs develop superior yard-long varieties.
